North Florida College Makes Great Colleges Honor Roll for Six Years Straight
MADISON, FL - For six consecutive years, North Florida College has been named one of the best colleges in the nation to work for, according to the Great Colleges to Work For® program.
The 2021 results, just released in a special insert of The Chronicle of Higher Education, are based on a survey of 196 colleges and universities across the U.S. In all, 70 of the 196 institutions achieved “Great College to Work For” recognition for specific best practices and policies.

Gainesville, Florida – At the end of September, Alachua Conservation Trust (ACT) purchased 160 acres of land nestled within River Rise Preserve State Park. Originally intended for residential development, this stretch of land will now be incorporated into the existing state park once it is transferred to the State.
