During the week of June 4th-7th 4-H members with an interest in the Florida Cattle Industry participated in camp focused on the segments of the industry. Moos on the MOOVE took a journey through a variation of different segments of the cattle industry including cow/calf, marketing, preconditioning, finishing, and seedstock.

MADISON, FLA., – According to a Uf/IFAS press release by Meredith Bauer, Florida 4-H will begin renovating its historic 4-H Camp Cherry Lake after it received $900,000 from Governor DeSantis and the state legislature.

Monday, June 10, 2024, Governor Ron DeSantis announced in a release he has committed to approving a historic teacher salary funding increase of $1.25 billion in the budget for Fiscal Year 2024–25.
Since 2019, Florida has invested over $4 billion in teacher pay increases and has raised starting teacher pay by nearly $10,000.
