In Loving Memory of Betty Fletcher Hamilton

Betty Fletcher Hamilton, age 65, of Greenville, Florida went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, from Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. She was surrounded by her Husband, along with family and close friends..

She was born November 23, 1956, in Quitman, GA to Tommie Ann Waldrep and Joe Howard Fletcher of Greenville, Fl. She graduated from Greenville High School 'Class of 1974', then went on to obtain an RAA (Registered Records Administrator) degree from Central Florida. She started a Federal career with the VA hospital where she remained for 37 years, then continuing her work at the Madison Hospital for the next 7 years. She was an inspiration to so many of her co-workers.

Betty was a devoted Wife, Mother and Grandmother. She was married to her husband Ron Hamilton for the past 26 years. She has 3 children, Danny Hamilton (Tracie), Cody Hamilton (Marie),and Aaron Green. She also has 13 Grandchildren, who she loved unconditionally.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, two brother's (W.H. Fletcher, Jerry Fletcher), and one sister (Barbara Ann Fletcher Townsend).

She was an active member of Concord Baptist Church. She loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ deeply. Her precious time was spent enjoying life with her husband Ron, visiting and loving her family, taking unforgettable trips with her friends, reading and caring for others. She was an avid blood donor and would always encourage others to do the same. She was the example of Greatness, and will be deeply missed by so many, but cannot possibly ever be forgotten.

Her viewing will be held at Burns Funeral Home in Madison, Fl on Mar 27th 2022 from 4-6 pm. And she will be honored with a Graveside service at (829 NW Concord Church Rd. in Greenville, Fl. 32331) at 11 AM on Mar 28th 2022. In Lieu of flowers the family is requesting any donations in her honor be made to Concord Baptist Church.
