Lake City Assistant Fire Chief Dwight Boozer passes

It is with heavy hearts that I must inform the community of the passing of Assistant Fire Chief Dwight Boozer. Chief Boozer passed away after a long battle with cancer. Chief Boozer’s impact on this department and Lake City as a community is immeasurable. Chief Boozer will be greatly missed.
Arrangements at this time are as follows:
- Viewing will be held Tuesday March 5th from 5-7pm at Lake City Fire Station 1 located at 225 NW Main Blvd. Lake City.
- Funeral will be at the Christian Fellowship Church located at 5037 SW County Rd 240 in Lake City. Service will begin at 11am Wednesday March 6th.
