Robbery at Circle K

Lake City, Fla., – On Friday, October 7, 2022 at 1:48 A.M., officers from the Lake City Police Department were dispatched to 938 West Duval Avenue, Circle K, for a reported robbery. Upon arrival, officers learned a tall, heavy set black male, wearing a camouflage jacket,

camouflage pants and red mask covering the lower part of his face, had entered the business and selected a fountain drink. The suspect then walked towards the pastry items and questioned the clerk about the doughnut’s freshness. The suspect approached the counter where he had his hand inside of his jacket pocket causing the clerk to feel the suspect had a gun. The suspect demanded money from the register, the clerk complied. The suspect then exited the business heading in a northeastern direction.
No one was hurt during the incident.
