Florida Folk Festival this weekend!

The 70th annual Florida Folk Festival is this Memorial Day weekend! A three-day celebration of Florida’s music, dance, food and other cultural heritages, from May 27-29, 2022 at Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park in White Springs.

        Named “Florida’s Best Cultural Event,” the festival has also been recognized by the Southeast Tourism Society as a “Top 20 Event” in the Southeast United States.

    The park will feature more than 300 performances throughout the event, drawing thousands to White Springs.

     Be sure to visit the Folklife Area to experience the traditions and savor the flavors, sights and sounds of some of Florida’s oldest and newest cultural communities. Sit in a jam session and try your own hand at playing mandolin, telling stories or making a pine needle basket.

     Shopping and browsing the many booths craftspeople and artists have set up is always a favorite or just come for the music performances. There is something for everyone at the festival.
