From hands-on learning to high-demand careers, North Florida College put opportunity on full display last month, as its Live Oak location hosted an engaging and informative open house for prospective students, families and community members.

Held from 5 to 7 p.m., the event invited guests to explore NFC’s growing list of academic and workforce programs—including the new Bachelor of Applied Science in Organizational Management, a program designed for future leaders in business, government and healthcare sectors. The degree is pending final approval and is anticipated to launch in fall 2025.

Attendees met with knowledgeable faculty and staff, received step-by-step help with admissions and financial aid and discovered available scholarships all while enjoying refreshments, giveaways and waived application fees.

“NFC Live Oak Location continues to open doors for students who want more than just a classroom experience,” said Tina Tucker, Director of the Live Oak Location. “We’re offering real skills, real credentials and real pathways to a brighter future.”
