We are going to do the Festival of Lights and we need your help to bring this event to life!

This year has been challenging with the storms our area has endured; we hope that you all fared well and are getting back to normal. We here at Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park are really looking forward to getting back to our normal routine. We are going to do the Festival of Lights, and we need your help to bring this event to life! Yes, it is last minute and close to our December 6th opening but we will make this event happen.

Hurricane Helene caused considerable damage to the park, altering its landscape, and destroying much of our décor. We are calling on groups, clubs, schools, businesses, and individuals to come together and help us decorate. Please help us spread the word, if you or anyone you know would like to come decorate, or donate, or volunteer during the event, please contact me as soon as possible. This is your chance to show off your creativity, promote your business, and show that our tri-county community can overcome any obstacle! Let us make the 2024 Festival of Lights one of the best yet, and we cannot do it without you!
